West Gym AV Guide

Simple setup. Clean shutdown.

Follow each section in order for wireless microphones, HDMI audio, and projectors.

Read your section before turning anything on.

Choose the guide that matches what you are using. The order matters, especially when connecting a computer and powering the projectors.

Check the microphone name

Add batteries, turn on the microphone, and read the name on its screen. Turn on only the matching receiver.

Left receiver: Gym 1. Right receiver: Gym 2. Turn on only the receiver that matches your microphone.

Never turn on both receiver boxes when you are using only one microphone. This can cause a loud, intermittent noise.

Shut down the receiver in this order

Use the exact sequence below. Wait for the receiver to turn off, then turn off the microphone and return the microphone and batteries.

Request HDMI audio in advance

Request HDMI audio pass-through at least two weekdays before your event. Any media you use must also follow Rancho’s Media Guidelines.

Connect the computer before the projectors

Plug in the computer first, then choose HDMI 2 SDI 4K as the display. If you need help setting up the external display, use the guide for your computer.

Turn on the projectors

Find the projector remote in the drawer. Stand in front of each projector, point the remote at it, and press power. A flashing green light means the projector is warming up.

Before you leave

Finish the shutdown.

Complete every item. Save the Production Support number before your event so help is easy to reach.
