Rancho Church Board
Like Rancho Church, the Rancho Board is “A diverse community of friends advancing the cause of Christ through mercy, justice, and love.” Consisting of volunteer members of the church, the Rancho Board is responsible for safeguarding the mission, vision, values, and heritage of Rancho Church, ensuring it remains a vibrant Community of Christlike care in the Temecula Valley. Through its governance role, the Rancho Board also oversees the strategic vision of Rancho Church to help ensure its theological integrity, ministry outcomes, and financial sustainability. Rancho Board members actively participate in the life of Rancho Church by attending services, volunteering in ministries, and supporting pastoral staff. Rancho Board Members are selected from the Rancho Church communities via an interview and voting process, and serve for two year terms.

James Nakakihara
Rancho has been our church home since the mid 90's. My wife Lisa and I moved to Temecula in 1990. We have one son, Kevin. Being a part of Rancho completely blessed our lives in so many ways. From volunteering as a greeter, helping out in classes, having a home group, participating in short-term missions around the world, becoming an elder, teaching, serving on the worship team, and eventually serving as president of the Reformed Church in America, and being the recipient of so much love and support during difficult times, this church has fulfilled the declaration that God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine." I recently retired from my position as a special education teacher. Prior to that I spent time in the private sector mostly in administrative jobs. I have a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in foreign language. My hobbies include programming, watching endless YouTube videos, reading, playing guitar, and hording.
